This section is my personal space, to introduce myself, my cars, and my activities.

This is Ian, your webmaster, with two '68 Chryslers of my own and one I found for a friend one day while riding my bike home from UCSB in late 2000. Unfortunately after several events that write their own riveting tragedies, only one is left whole, while the engines of the other two live on. Those stories along with many others will be shared in this section of my website.

The original intent of getting my own website was to showcase myself and my friends and all of our automotive adventures; and then somewhere along the line I got this crazy notion to include the rest of you, my visitors, and hopefully some neighbors in the madness.

As the site grows, I will be adding numerous stories of automotive adventures and (mostly my own) debacles. For now, visit my horribly out of date Geocities website. Much has happened since I last updated it, so keep checking back here to see what's playing at the Drive-in. Tickets are free. It's the best deal in Santa Barbara for entertainment!

Newport! Wreck 1...2...3???

The story of the Newport is now available for viewing, with image gallery. You wouldn't believe it if I told you... so I wrote it down instead.

Bonneville: 2-4-6-8

2 barrel carburetors times 3, on top of 468 cubic inches. This is the history of the car under my ownership with an emphasis on its current build state.
