Miles: 152,000 on original engine

Modifications:
P-S-T 1 1/8" front way bar, Mallory breakerless ignition, 15X6 Rally II wheels (5 on 5 bolt pattern)

Other things of interest:
Original interior, repainted in 1997
Semi-daily driver. You've probably seen it around Santa Barbara and Goleta, SBCC and UCSB for the last 7 years. I bought it in 1996 and have put on 24,000 miles since then including a trip to Denver, CO on the Power Tour in 1998.

The Bonneville at LACR 8-15-03 on the Car Craft Cruise. She ran a 18.3 second 1/4 mile on both of our very first runs ever down the strip, with the trunk fully laden by tools and other junk. Subsequent runs were slower and slower as the car started detonating badly while the temp got up to 250 degrees. It was a very hot day in Palmdale, but she made it back home. The 455 I have planned will drop this time by several seconds.

Currently, the car sits in a garage waiting for me to start the 455 build. I should have it running by the end of 2003 if all goes well.

Check out progress updates in the gallery!

The Bonnie was caught on camera by the great folks at Car Craft, and printed in the December 2003 magazine! Thanks guys! This is mag #2. I'm hoping for a full feature someday when the car's "done!"

1977 Firebird Formula

Modifications:
Del-A-Lum bushings
Global West A-arms
850/650 lb springs front/rear
Sway bars
Poly Bushings
16X9 wheels for racing
Fast-ratio power steering
Roll-bar 4-point
Recaro N seats
4-wheel disk brakes
Koni Adjustable Shocks
Borg-Warner Super T-10 trans

Other things of interest:
I planned the engine myself, and rebuilt the engine in my garage. Hey, it used to have a Chevy 305 from the factory, so a 355 is a big improvement!

New engine Dyno Proven!
286hp/337 ft lbs to the WHEELS. Not too shabby for a smogger from the '70s running through a SINGLE catalytic converter.

Dyno Run Sept 21, 2003

Cam Break-in July 19, 2003.

Video: low-angle exhaust shot

Finished 355.

At the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, *AHEM - GOLETA!* CA (just down the street from me, literally!) next to Sandpiper Golf Course.

This resort is near the only place on the continental United States to have been attacked by sea. It was shelled by a Japanese submarine shortly after WWII.

1968 Chrysler 300

Category: Cruiser/Muscle

Engine:440
Trans:727
Rear: 8 3/4 with 2.76 Sure-Grip

Edlebrock 750 4-bbl
Mancini built 727 auto transmission
15X7 police wheels
255/60-15 front
275/60-15 rear

Going to have a '68 Newport front end on it with the '68 300's covered headlights and eventually a new engine.

1983 Ford Econoline Van

Category: Beater/Workhorse

Engine:351
Trans:C6
Rear: Ford 9"
Miles: 144,000 and keeps chugging.

Modifications:
It has a $25 junkyard wing (off of another van) and a brush guard.

Other things of interest:
None, really. This is my engine hauler. It has Rust holes, torn seats, it's the slowest vehicle ever. It's junk. I love it. If you see it around, laugh at it, not at me. I laugh at it all the time!
